Julie is a Naturopath based in Melbourne Australia that has a passion for helping people with mental health and chronic health conditions.
She is a strong advocate of psychosomatic medicine and the author of Your body is your teacher- it whispers until it has to scream.
Julie’s approach is right up my alley. In her book she covers how imbalances in your life such as overcommitment and family trauma is reflected as imbalances in the body and likely lead to illness. She covers real life stories and links the emotions behind different issues which I love because like Julie’s story today, sharing helps us learn.
Thanks to Julie for sharing her story experiencing suicide of her partner whilst pregnant and sharing her experience with chronic illnesses and acknowledging the emotional state that plays a big part in health and healing.
I always get excited when I meet another practitioner who’s willing to delve deeper and beyond someone’s physical or mental presentation. This is the work we need more of in the world.
