Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond PBB Media Podcast
It was such a pleasure to be asked to share on the Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond podcast hosted by the wonderful @oni_keeperofthehearth. The way we connected was through good old 2 degrees of separation.
Oni has a midwifery background and is a wonderful doula amongst many other amazing things. I love how she facilitated this interview.
We talked about why the deeper work is so important especially when it comes to working with women around fertility.
And we speak about the less spoken parts around pregnancy including miscarriages and abortions and how I facilitate emotional release work around these experiences.
I share my own birth story and lotus birth with violet including how in a friends research study I scored the lowest in terms of pain threshold but managed to have a painless birth.
Why keeping the placenta attached was important to us.
And a whole lot more! Not just for those thinking about pregnancy 🙂

Wanaka Podcast
On this episode I share my journey of building two integrative osteopathy & chiropractic clinics (Metamed Health) over the last 4 years, going from a team of 1 to 12. Built on intention, goals and purpose.
Since recording this a few things have changed!! Our team has grown to 14 people. I've just stepped back from clinical work (still managing the clinic) and have moved solely into the one space teaching and coaching under The Art Of Listening To Your Body.
And I now go away on mini workcations every 6 weeks to catch up and recalibrate. Alone. No family. Sometimes with friends.
I also share why I do the deeper work around mind-body and emotional work.
Have a listen and support the crew from Wanaka Podcast. Thanks so much to the lovely Jess Eastwood for hosting me.

Dr. Jin Ong is a Cathartic Release Therapist.
Trained professionally as an osteopath, psychosomatic therapist, medical acupuncturist and herbalist she has treated thousands of clients and founded the MetaMed Health clinics in New Zealand.
Jin works with complex physical and emotional conditions that don’t respond to traditional or conventional therapies, including surgery. She also works with cancer and terminally ill clients.
‘Your physical body is a manifestation of your emotional state. The experiences, events and traumas in your life are associated with an emotion that wants to be expressed and released at the time. If you don’t know how to express or rather you suppress because that emotion is inconvenient it gets stored in your body as a source of stress. You can compensate until you can’t anymore. When it all gets too much, your body presents with pain, injury, illness, disease and mental imbalances. You don’t need to end up at this crisis point.
Jin weaves in various traditional and eastern philosophies with western medicine to intuitively read the body and understand what emotions are stored. Most importantly she facilitates a deeply cathartic and transformational process to liberate the body of physical and emotional pain.
Jin loves to dig deep, speak about the unspoken, and help people process unresolved emotions that hold them back from living the life they truly want. It’s all about getting comfortable with discomfort.
